A Little Christmas Quilt

Whoa! Where did the week go? I know, in a flurry of making! Here it is February already. I got most of the projects on my list finished. I will be showing them this week. When I made the list of things I wanted to finish this month, I forgot the Chinese New Year was coming up. We went out several evenings. We never go out! So I couldn’t finish everything. I didn’t get to the quilt I was making for my parents, which is kind of sad, since it was the oldest one! Well, it moves to the top of the list for February.

Today I’m sharing the little Christmas quilt I was making for my kids. It’s made from a bundle of Santa’s Workshop fat quarters.  Very cute fabric!

It’s a simple patchwork quilt trimmed with jumbo pink ric-rac.

I made a matching pillow — actually I finished the pillow last summer! Both are backed with my favorite print from this collection — a light pink covered in cute toys straight from Santa’s workshop.

It’s not very big, just big enough for my two little kids to snuggle under. Last weekend we put our new quilts to good use while watching a movie together. They are just the right size!
